"This shows that Jakarta is truly a government to government, or people to people, but the younger generation, young people from various countries are also specially invited to attend in Jakarta," he said.

This event is also held to encourage Jakarta's young generation to build international connections and instill a commitment to clean energy or green energy among the participants.

"It is part of our commitment to clean energy, green energy in the future. The younger generation will also be invited to think, introduced to things related to green energy in this forum," he added.

Pramono hopes this event will provide a platform for participants to exchange ideas, build cross-cultural understanding, and forge global networks for a better future for the city. He explained that Jakarta has existed for almost 500 years and has transformed itself by integrating traditions.

"This city is more than just a dot on a map. It is a living archive of the joys, struggles, and aspirations of its citizens," he continued.

Through the Jakarta International Youth Program 2025, the Jakarta Provincial Government invites all participants to delve into Jakarta's narrative through stories told by its people, especially the younger generation.

During the program, international participants will meet with young people from Jakarta who act as cultural bridges.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, appreciated the holding of the Jakarta International Youth Program 2025 event initiated by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"This is a very effective increase in cultural capacity, especially human resources, for the younger generation," Dito stated.

He believes that this youth exchange will help Jakarta realize its vision of becoming a global city.
